1946-47 Cleveland Rebels Jacket
Rare vintage jacket from the short lived Cleveland Rebels franchise of the Basketball Association of America, a forerunner to the NBA. The Rebels lasted only one season and disbanded shortly after losing to the New York Knicks in the first round of the playoffs. This brown letterman-style button down jacket has red and blue trim on the collar and the waist with "Rebels" above "Cleveland" on a red background. Verso is "Cleveland" in red and blue lettering. This once belonged to Al Sutphin, the owner of the Cleveland Barons AHL hockey franchise and the Cleveland Arena. Nice use and wear.
