1946-47 Jackie Robinson Professional Basketball Season Pass
UCLA's only four-sport letterman, Jackie Robinson excelled at basketball long before he ever honed his skills on the baseball diamond. This very rare season pass to the semi-pro Los Angeles Red Devil's (sic) basketball team that featured Robinson is the first we've ever seen. It is signed by team owner Jack Duddy and is good for two admissions. Robinson played forward for the club, which went 3-13 on the season, with Jackie scoring as many as 13 points in one game against the Chicago American Gears on November 23, 1946, five months before he made baseball history as the major leagues' first black player. The Red Devils also featured notable players Irv Noren and George Crowe. The pass is graded VG-EX.
