Game used baseball from the Fenway Park All Star Game that marked the return of baseball's marquee players, like Ted Williams who went four for four while setting or tying 5 All Star game records in one game and shutting out the NL. It was one of the most celebrated Midsummer Classics in history and the Splendid Splinter did not disappoint, belting 2 impressive home runs. OAL (Harridge) baseball shows nice game use with vintage rubbed in dirt, now engrained as part of the toning. Its Reach stampings are almost completely faded. Signed on the sweet spot by commissioner Happy Chandler and also inscribed in his hand, "A.B. Chandler, '46 A-12 - N-0." Signature grades "8" out of a possible 10.
