1946 Ted Williams Game Used Bat (35")

1946 Ted Williams Game Used Bat (35")

People are paying a pretty penny for just a piece of the Splendid Splinter’s bat. Of course, those pieces are only about the thickness of a quarter. Here is an opportunity to own a rare and prominent piece of Ted Williams game used material, in its entirety! Why settle for a piece, when you can have the whole thing?! Signature model Hillerich & Bradsby 01 is an amazing early Ted Williams gamer from one of his most prolific seasons. According to H&B records, this gamer was ordered either on February 7 or March 15 of 1946. Weighing in at an impressive 34 ounces (all his bats for that year were in excess of 33 ounces), this is material proof of his hitting ability with strong use to the barrel. Williams chose the model “01” bat only for the 1946 season and never again. Tape in two spots on the handle are darkened and hardened from age. Uncracked. One of the earliest Williams bats we’ve handled. Get this one while you can!
