An interesting example of how athletes are used to promote the economy and support for the government, this image of Ted Williams was used to promote war bonds. Ted Williams in follow through with caption “A Sure Hit… Buy Bonds Through the Payroll Savings Plan”. Creased four times with slight discoloration to edges, pencil markings to front and back.
