Historically profound ball signed by Brooklyn Dodger executives, coaches and scouts at a fateful moment: 1947 spring training camp in Pensacola, Florida, when Jackie Robinson would put on a big league uniform for the first time and prepare for his debut at Ebbets Field. 28 signatures include the son of man who signed Jackie, minor league director Branch Rickey Jr., manager Walt Alston, former manager Burt Shotton, scout/hitting instructor George Sisler, scout Frency Bordagaray and other assorted names like Wid Matthews, Ray Hathaway, Andy High, Allen Bryant, Jim Bivin, Bill Sayles, etc. Signatures VG-EX. Ball EX and golden with a shiny, lacquered finish. Also an August 29, 1946 photo (8 x 10) of a gathering of the Dodger execs, and a Rickey letter to a serviceman dated December 15, 1944, on Dodger stationary, with a Mint Rickey signature.
