Handwritten signed note from legendary playwright George Bernard Shaw on 3x5" card which someone sent to Shaw for him to sign. The card is labeled "Hon. George Bernard Shaw" handwritten in calligraphy. Shaw crossed out the "Hon." and wrote "Are you a professional calligrapher? Could you design a 40 letter alphabet? I am not officially honorable, nor the son of a peer". Signed "G. Bernard Shaw, Ayot Saint Lawrence, Welwyn, Hert, 24th December 1947". Framed to 13x17" with engraved plaque detailing the note and matted photo. Signature and handwriting rate a stellar 9/10.&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 13px;">Comes certified by PSA.</span>
