1947 Homogenized Bond Bread Complete Set (48/48)
Offered is the original 1947 Homogenized Bond Bread card set of 48 cards, with 44 baseball subjects and four (4) boxers. These cards were issued with beveled (rounded) corners, so they would comfortably fit into the loaves of Bond Bread. Many a young boy urged his parents to purchase Bond Bread. Set includes: BASEBALL - Jackie Robinson, DiMaggio, T. Williams, Berra, Rizzuto, Hodges, Musial, Reese, with many others. BOXERS - Joe Louis, Jake LaMotta, Primo Carnera and Marcel Cerdan. Grades EX to NM, with some lesser.
