1947 Jackie Robinson Rookie Brooklyn Dodgers Ticket Stub - Career Home Run #5 PSA VG-EX 4 (Pop 1 of 1 Highest Graded)
Brooklyn Dodgers ticket stub, issued for a game against the Chicago Cubs on July 10, 1947, in which Jackie Robinson hit the fifth home run of his career. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. This is the only example of this ticket graded at this level, with NONE graded higher. It is also one of only three such examples listed in the PSA Population Report. This ticket (1.25x3") was issued for a doubleheader at Ebbets Field. Robinson's fifth home run of his rookie season, a two-run shot in the third inning off Hank Borowy, gave the Dodgers a 3-0 lead that they never relinquished in their 5-3 win. Brooklyn also won the second game by a score of 4-3. This is an outstanding high-grade Jackie Robinson milestone ticket stub dating from his historic 1947 rookie season.
