1947 Mike Garcia Cleveland Indians Signed Contract
Contract signed by Cleveland Indians right-hander Dave Garcia in 1947, actually one year before his Major League debut. Standard player contract signed by Garcia - in his birth name, Edward M. Garcia - the Indians' business manager and Will Harridge for the American League. Garcia played 12 of his 14 seasons in Cleveland, winning the ERA title with the Tribe in 1949 and '54.
