1947 Montreal Royals Team-Signed Ball with Roy Campanella

1947 Montreal Royals Team-Signed Ball with Roy Campanella

Jackie Robinson wasn't the only notable player to come through Brooklyn's Triple-A affiliate in Montreal during the 1940s. When Jackie was shattering the major league color barrier the following season of 1947, future Dodgers catching star Roy Campanella was honing his skills for the Royals. The future Hall of Famer's signature is right on the sweet spot of this EX-MT International League baseball that also boasts the signatures of 22 other players, including Al Campanis and Clay Hopper. The signatures in blue ink average 7.5/10.
