1947 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball

1947 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball

The 1947 New York Yankees conjure memories of an especially bitter rivalry between Brooklyn and New York, which ended in one of the most storied World Series in history. Berra’s pinch-hit homer, Gionfriddo’s catch, Cookie Lavagetto’s pinch-hit double to break up Bevens’ no-hitter. This was by far one of the most sensational seasons in baseball history. 27 total ink signatures from the 1947 Yankees on this OAL (Harridge) baseball include DiMaggio (sweet spot), Rizzuto, Crosetti, Houk, Raschi, & more. Ball itself (EX+) is evenly toned to slightly darker than cream color. Stampings are slightly faded but all visible.
