1947 NY Yankees vs. Cleveland Browns AAFC Championship Program w/Rare Inserts
Despite existing for only four years, the All-America Football Conference was considered a strong alternative to the NFL in the 1940s. This rarity is a program from the 1947 AAFC Championship game between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Browns, held at Yankee Stadium on December 14. The unscored center page has separated from the staples but this remains in nice condition with a strong EX+ grade. This includes a pair of inserts that were included - one for a New Year's Eve concert by Ray Anthony's Band, and another for 1948 season tickets. Of special note is the iconic Yankees Top Hat logo perched atop a football instead of the more recognizable baseball.
