1947 Santurce Signed Photograph
The Puerto Rican League's time as a winter season for Negro League talent was about to become a memory when these Santurce mug shots were taken and autographed in 1947. Jackie Robinson integrated the major leagues the same year, but the opportunity never came for the likes of Vic Harris, who signed "Vic" at the top center, and Dick Seay, upper left. Sigs are real nice (EX-MT), photo has a stain and some creasing. 5 X 8 inch souvenir serves wonderfully as a period touchstone.
