1947 Ted Kluszewski First Major League Home Run Baseball

1947 Ted Kluszewski First Major League Home Run Baseball

Ted Kluszewski's first major league home run was still over a year away, but "Big Klu" blasted a mammoth shot in Spring Training on March 8, 1947. This official National League (Frick) baseball was a very special item to the first baseman, as it was an integral part of his collection and then his family's collection after he passed. It comes with an LOA from his widow, Eleanor, showing heavy use and featuring Klu's notation on a panel: "March 8, 1947, 1st Home Run, Spring Training."
