1947 Tom Ferrick Washington Senators Game Worn Uniform

1947 Tom Ferrick Washington Senators Game Worn Uniform

From a long time Washington area collector comes this outstanding and rare 1940s Senators uniform. This unique example has the sought-after Stars and Bars patch on the left sleeve which the Senators continued to wear after the war and were the only team to do so. All original with a black felt "W" sewn on the front and "17" on the back. MacGregor size 48 tag in the collar with "Ferrick 17" sewn in and hand written in black. "1 47" sewn in the front tail on a rectantgular swatch indicating the set and year. Included is a pair of matching road pants that are actually from a year later and tagged "1 48." These were worn by multiple players and have "Wooten 23" sewn in the waistband but were also worn by Ferrick as can be seen by his name hand-written next to the swatch. Both the pants and jersey show nice use but are in fine condition and present extremely well.
