1948 All-Star Game Award Plaque
Hall of Famer Red Schoendienst was selected to the second of his 10 All-Star Games in 1948 and was presented with this award by the National League, The engraving reads: "ALL STAR AWARD NATIONAL LEAGUE TO RED SCHOENDIENST IN TOKEN OF HIS SELECTION TO BASEBALL'S ALL-STAR TEAM 1948." It is in EX condition with some tarnishing and measures approximately 8" x 7". Red batted .272 in 1948 and was a lifetime .289 hitter.
