1948 Carl Furillo Brooklyn Dodgers Signed Contract
One of Brooklyn's sainted Dodgers from the glory days of 1955, Carl Furillo signed this National League player's contract for $8,500 to play the 1948 season at Ebbets Field. It is signed by Furillo and General Manager Branch Rickey in pen. The outfielder batted .297 with a stellar .374 on-base percentage in 1948, his third major league season. The contract displays mailing folds but otherwise is in EX condition.
