1948 Drunk Driving Drunkometer Test Photographs (6)
Interesting lot of six vintage 8 x 10'' photographs of the San Francisco Police trying out the new "Drunkometer." This was an early device that measured the drivers alcohol content by breath. The photos tell the story of a driver being pulled over on the Golden Gate Bridge, the police finding a bottle of wine in the car and the "Drunkometer" test being performed at the police station in front of the reporters cameras. Overall Excellent.
