1948 Kentucky Wildcats Point Shaving Comic Book Original Art
This beautiful pen-and-ink comic book original art is a complete two-page story from a series entitled “Sports Short.” It was published in “True Comics” and features Adolph Rupp’s Kentucky Wildcats with Ralph Beard, Alex Groza, Wah Wah Jones and the Kentucky Olympians. It hadn't happened at this point, but, ironically, Beard and Jones would be banned from the NBA for life in the 1951 point shaving scandal. Each page is 22x15” and is EX-MT.
