1949-50 New York Giants Game Worn Jersey
New York Giants baseball jersey from 1949-1950. Gray road flannel is a size 46 with the MacGregor Goldsmith tag still in the collar along and a tag reading "Spencer 14". "New York" is written across the chest in black and orange block letters and the number 14 is on the back in those same classic Giants colors. "Set 1, 1949" is in a small tag inside the jersey near the waist line. The jersey was originally made for pitcher George Spencer but Spencer did not play for New York in 1949 so it was passed along to another player or coach, most likely shortstop Rudy Rufer in 1950. This button down jersey shows great use and comes with an LOA.
