1949 All-Star Game Award gold and diamond belt buckle given to National League team manager William "Bucky" Walters. The buckle reads "All Star Award" and has a pair of crossed bats with an inset diamond between, along with "1949". The 1949 All-Star Game was the only All-Star Game played on Ebbets Field. It was also the first All-Star Game that African Americans were allowed to participate in. Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Don Newcombe and Stan Musial were a few of the representatives for the NL, and the AL team featured Joe DiMaggio, Larry Doby, Ted Williams and many more.
