1949 Bowman Baseball Card Complete Set
This recently resurrected set of cards was built in the 1980s and stored untouched for the last 30 years. In 1949, Bowman expanded its baseball roster to 240 subjects and added color to its cards. With the expansion came the first cards of many key rookie cards including Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Satchel Paige and others. Key cards grade:#24 Musial Ex, #27 Feller EX, #33 Spahn EX, #36 Reese EX, #46 Roberts VG, #50 Robinson PSA 5 EX, #60 Berra PR, #84 Campanella EX+, #85 Mize EX, #98 Rizzuto EX, G, #100 Hodges EX, #214 Ashburn NRMT, #224 Paige PSA 4 VG-EX, #226 Snider PSA 5 EX, #233 Doby EX, #238 Lemon EX. The set is a consistent EX throughout with some nicer cards throughout. Several variations are included such as the Phil Rizzuto. The PSA-graded cards present nicer than the grades indicate so bid accordingly.
