1949 Bowman Complete High Grade Master Set of (324) with All Variations and (22) PSA Graded

Offered is an extremely difficult Master set to complete. The 1949 Bowman baseball set includes a run of low number (1-72) cards which come in the standard gray or also white backs. In addition, there are 12 cards with name variations, either on front or back. These name variations are often seen and are usually added to the 240 card regular set to create a 252 card Master set. However, this Master set should be called the "Ultimate Master" set since it also includes all the white back variations from the first series for a total of 324 cards. What this indicates is there are two cards of each number up to 72, meaning there are two (2) Jackie Robinson rookies, two (2) Robin Roberts rookies and two of every other card in the two low numbers series. This set is in incredible condition, with most of the very difficult high numbers having sharp corners, most at Near Mint levels or above. Many of the key high numbers have been graded, as are the other keys. A total of 22 cards (submitted by Leland's) have been graded by PSA. As PSA tends to grade with a very critical eye, we feel there are re-submission opportunities and plenty of high grade commons (especially the sharp high numbers) worthy of third-party grading. We feel the Jackie Robinson WB Rookie Card (graded a PSA 7) is particularly attractive considering it is dead centered with sharp corners.
