1949 Independence Yankees Photo with Mickey Mantle
Original from 1949 shows a very young Mick, when he was a third baseman, kneeling on the far right with his eyes closed as if he was asleep. Photo (10 x 8”) is signed by the whole team but Mantle. Someone other than the Mick has printed his name on the photo. VG-EX with an LOA from one of Mick’s teammates.
