1949 Montreal Royals Team-Signed Baseball with Chuck Connors
Three years after Jackie Robinson spent his "preparation" season there before breaking baseball's color barrier, the Montreal Royals went on to win their second straight Governor's Cup championship in 1949. This official International League baseball is in NRMT condition and contains 20 signatures ranging from 6 to 8/10. A few have bled, including that of Chuck Connors, TV's "Rifleman." Before he went on to Hollywood stardom, Connors was in the Dodgers' chain and was once the backup first baseman to the beloved Gil Hodges. The ball also features the autographs of Dan Bankhead and Clay Hopper.
