1949 New York Yankees World Championship Money Clip

Handsome 10K gold money clip presented to members of the Yankees organization following their World Series victory over their cross-town rivals, The Dodgers. It would be the twelfth pennant raised at Yankee Stadium and the first under Hall of Fame Manager Casey Stengel. The 2.75” dazzler has at its center the team’s logo, accented by three red, white, and blue stones, surrounded by raised text that reads, “World Champions 1949.” Created by Balfour, it comes complete with its original box and has remained in NRMT condition.
