Complete run of all five ticket stubs issued for the 1949 World Series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees. The Series, which was won by the Yankees, marked the start of the club's record five consecutive World Championship, three of which came at the expense of the Dodgers. Roy Campanella hit his first career World Series home run in Game 3. 1) Game 1 (at New York). FR-GD, with creasing and small amount of paper loss on reverse. 2) Game 2 (at New York). FR-GD, with heavy creasing. 3) Game 3 (at Brooklyn). Campanella home run. FR-GD, with creasing and ink mark on reverse. 4) Game 4 (at Brooklyn). GD, with moderate creasing. 5) Game 5 (at Brooklyn).
