1950's American Folk Art Baseball Game
Wonderful piece was obviously executed by a superior craftsman. Ingenuous design centers around a bat shaped post with original wood baseball on a string hanging below. You pull a heavy handle and the batter takes a great swing towards the ball. Stands are surrounded by chicken wire fencing for a cool look. Best of all is the field in the old paint. This is one of the prototype originals for a style that was later copied. A great piece of American folk art worthy of any collection. Measures 20" x 20" x 19".
