1950's Detroit Tigers Pitchers Bullpen Jacket
Very rarely seen black wool bullpen jacket offered its wearer complete protection from the elements and the optimal environment in which to warm his muscles. The full length garment is closed at the hem with circular piece of canvas and hooded at top, with both a set of sleeves and a second pair of cuffed openings at the waist for the hands. A virtual cocoon in which Tigers pitchers prepared for play within, it is sewn simply with Detroit's "D" team logo on the left breast and is without any additional tagging. Overall it measures 80" in total length and exhibits good use, most noticeable on the canvas bottom.
