1950's Harlem Clowns Warm-Up Jacket

The Harlem Clowns were an African-American show team that toured the world from 1934 to 1983. The team was created by Al "Runt" Pullins in 1934, who had founded the Harlem Globetrotters earlier. This classic satin warm-up is very colorful, with a stars and bars shield on the left breast. On the back is sewn "Al Pullins HARLEM CLOWNS." The buttons at the bottom on the back were for a name plate to be attached. Rayson Sports size 48 tagging in the collar. Nice condition with no rips, tears or holes.
