1950-1979 New York Yankees Complete Yearbook Collection (41)

1950-1979 New York Yankees Complete Yearbook Collection (41)

Complete New York Yankees yearbook collection spanning the years 1950 to 1979, plus one duplicate. It should be noted that the first five New York Yankees yearbooks ever published (1950-1954) were produced by Jay Publishing. It wasn't until 1955 that the Yankees began issuing their own "official" yearbook. Despite that fact, Jay Publishing continued to produce its own unofficial Yankees yearbook through the 1965 season. This collection consists of a complete run of all the official New York Yankees yearbooks from 1955 to 1979, plus a complete run of the Jay Publishing yearbooks spanning the years 1950 to 1965, for a total of 41 yearbooks (plus one duplicate; duly noted in our listing). Unless otherwise noted, all the official Yankees yearbooks are first editions (the Yankees normally issued revised editions as the season progressed).

Official New York Yankees Yearbooks: 1955 (GD), 1956 (2nd Edition, VG), 1957 (GD), 1958 (GD-VG, signed by Elston Howard on the front cover and Phil Rizzuto and Mel Allen on the interior), 1959 (Revised Edition, GD-VG), 1960 (Revised Edition, VG), 1961 (Revised Edition, FR), 1962 (Revised Edition, GD), 1963 (Revised Edition, GD), 1964 (two examples, one is a Final Edition, both EX), 1965 (EX), 1966 (EX), 1967 (Revised Edition, VG-EX), 1968 (VG-EX), 1969 (GD), 1970 (VG-EX), 1971 (VG), 1972 (EX), 1973 (VG), 1974 (GD), 1975 (VG), 1976 (VG), 1977 (VG-EX), 1978 (VG), and 1979 (VG).

Jay Publishing New York Yankees Yearbooks: 1950 (FR), 1951 (GD) 1952 (GD), 1953 (EX), 1954 (VG), 1955 (FR-GD), 1956 (FR-GD), 1957 (FR), 1958 (FR), 1959 (VG), 1960 (GD), 1961 (GD), 1962 (FR), 1963 (PR-FR), 1964 (GD-VG), and 1965 (EX).
