1950 Joe DiMaggio Signed Letter
Joltin' Joe DiMaggio's last truly productive season was in 1950, when he helped the Yankees to another World Series championship over the "Whiz Kids" Phillies. The Hall of Famer batted .301 with 32 home runs, 122 RBI and an AL-best .585 slugging percentage. But when he wasn't punishing the ball, DiMaggio made time for his fans, as this typed letter illustrates. This is a rarity by today's standards - a superstar actually writing a thank-you letter to a fan asking him for his autograph. The letter has typical mailing fold but otherwise is EX. Signature in black ink grades 7/10.
