1950 Stan Musial Game Worn Jersey

1950 Stan Musial Game Worn Jersey

Hands down the most aesthetically pleasing jersey in this auction, but this fashionable garment is far more than just a pretty face. Home white flannel was worn by HOF'er Stan the Man during the season which saw his fourth batting title (.346) and a slugging percentage just under .600. Terrific wear from this All-Star season has thankfully done very little to affect the gorgeous embroidery on the chest, featuring the famed birds and bat logo with "Cardinals" announced in red and blue. Number "6" on back always drew cheers at Sportsman's Park. "Rawlings St. Louis [size] 42" tagging in collar, with "Dry Clean Only" tag stitched below. Full "Stan Musial 50" stitched in red in tail. Zipper front. If this doesn't become the greatest jersey in you've got, then we want to come see your collection!
