This 26 piece collection features champ Joe Louis from the late 1940s-50s. Highlights include: two contracts - one being from Sterling Ingram - with neither contract signed by Louis (one having a secretarial signature). Also included are letters to, from and regarding Joe Louis, boxing license receipt, temporary permit, and receipts. The Brown Bomber was Heavyweight Champ for an astounding 140 consecutive months - over 12 years - which included 26 successful title defenses.
