1950s All America Football Sweater
This wool sweater is beige with red and blue stripes around the cuffs and waist. It has two pockets in front and a logo that says "ALL AMERICA" on a stars-and-stripes crest with a football resting on top of the crest, perhaps a knockoff of, or predecessor to, the more familiar NFL logo. The collar label says "OFFICIAL SWEATER," and All America Board of Football," in Old English, with "CATALINA" and "LOS ANGELES" in smaller print below. Displays some wear and glue residue from mounting, and has no markings on back.
