1950s Baltimore Colts Blanket Worn by their Mascot "Colt"
Moving tribute the Colts of old, this was the actual blanket worn by the Baltimore Colts mascot "Colt" that roamed the sideline during the days of Unitas and Company. From the days when men were made of iron and blankets were made of real wool, not Thinsulate this came from a Baltimore area Coltite. The approx. 44 x 60" wool blanket is brilliantly blue with gold trimming around the circumference and gold skeletal stitching in the center spelling out "Baltimore Colts" above and below the image of a wild "colt" pouncing on a pigskin, helmet flying from its head. Blanket is EX+ and lovely.
