1950s Dodgers/Giants Children's Baseball Jerseys
These chidren's sized mock Dodger and Giants jerseys from the '50s could make any kid feel like Willie, Pee Wee or the Duke. Take note that, unlike today's knockoff jerseys, these were no cheap, flimsy polyester rags off a sweatshop assembly line in, say, Bayonne. Just like the real things were, they're made from heavy flannel with tightly stitched trimming -- respectively in blue and black & orange -- and the team names sewn in thick felt across the chests, Dodgers in blue script style and Giants in black block letters. Labels in neck are "Empire NYC". Dodger shirt is size 12, Giants size 16. Both are EX-NRMT with light soiling most evident on Dodger jersey's sleeves.
