1950’s Game Used Cuban Baseball Jersey

Notes: The number 37 and the letters LV are sewn onto the chest of this vintage flannel Cuban jersey. The #37 also is sewn onto the back. The tagging in the neckline reads Batos / Cuba and below that is a size 42 tag. The LV stands for Las Villas Mnor League Professional Baseball team that later became Villa Clara, nicked named “The Orange Growers” one of the eight professional modern day Major League Teams. The jersey was worn by Jorge Cojumus Gonzalez a Cuban National who played several years for a few different Minor League teams in Cuba. LOA.<br><br>Condition: The flannel jersey appears to have some minor overal toning but there are no visible stains and the fabric is in pristine condition with no evidence of repairs. Grades EX+
