1950s Honeymooners Bus by Wolverine

1950s Honeymooners Bus by Wolverine

Originally just a minor sketch on the Jackie Gleason Show, "The Honeymooners" became an instant success as a separate syndicated show in 1955, lasting until 1956 on the airwaves. This tin litho, dubbed the "JACKIE GLEASON BUS" depicts the characters and other Gleason acts such as "Poor Soul" and "Reginald Van Gleason." The 60-year-old toy shows moderate play-wear and grades VG-EX. The top of the bus encourages folks to: "PRESS DOWN HERE AND AWAY WE GO." The roll-back action motor is still functional, making this a highly enjoyable throwback.
