Hall of Fame linebacker, Joe Schmidt, one of the league’s greatest, wore this helmet during the 1950’s, the Lions’ finest years. Detroit won 4 division titles and 3 league championships during that decade. This helmet saw plenty of use; you can see the hits taken - and given - by Joe Schmidt with big marks around the helmet. Well worn. Size 7?. His #54 stickered onto back. Facemask is no longer attached. From a great source who worked for the Lions.
