1950s Michigan State "Bill Otto Award" Downtown Coaches Club
Named after Spartans alum and successful East Lansing car dealership owner Bill Otto, this gorgeous rosewood award bears his name and features a football with "S" logo and school colors about to be kicked through goal posts. A plaque on the base reads: "BILL OTTO AWARD SPARTAN OF THE WEEK DOWNTOWN COACHES CLUB." The piece measures 17x7" and there is a partially peeled label of a local manufacturing company on the bottom. Otto started the Jaycees. The lot comes to us from the Gus LeDonne Collection.
