1950s Mickey Mantle & Sherm Lollar 3D Standup Original Poster Art
From the archives of the largest producers of children’s premiums of the era, Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with their LOA. Original art for a poster advertising a card issue that never went into production. These “Plastic 3-Diumnsisonal Stick-On Patch and Standup” were to be “Attached to Regular Rolls of Scotch Brand Cellophane Tape.” Images of the patches are right on there with Mickey Mantle and a very prominent Sherm Lollar. We believe this could be 1959 as Lollar had just won a pennant with the White Sox. Poster is in colored pencils on paper and is a beautiful 22.5x11.5”. Folded o/w EX-MT.
