1950s Milwaukee Braves Spring Training Used Uniform
The Braves moved to Milwaukee in 1953, and someone named Jack Wholley (believed to be someone in the front office) owned this tremendous road gray flannel jersey with the number 19 on the back below his name. The zipper front jersey features the familiar tomahawk logo and laughing Indian patch on the left shoulder and is accompanied by pants, authentic belt and stirrups that have the number 26 stitched into them. The uniform was obtained from the family of the original spring training recipient.
