1950s Nellie Fox Chewing Tobacco Cardboard Counter Display
One of only two known, this Nellie Fox Favorite Chewing Tobacco cardboard counter display would certainly not be approved for today's market. Fox, one of the best second basemen of all time, gives his unwavering endorsement for Favorite Chewing Tobacco, as the display proudly quotes the Hall of Famer as saying "FAVORITE is the CHEWING TOBACCO I use and recommend to you!" Just to the left and true to his word, Fox's floating head appears with a bulging cheek, presumably filled with Favorite Chewing Tobacco. The display features some great vintage colors, with a red, white, and blue color scheme. It includes an unopened chaw pack and notepad and is EX-MT.
