1950s PF Flyer Sneakers Cardboard Advertising Diecut Sign with 3D Pop-Out
From a series of PF Flyer advertising signs featuring a multitude of players, this is perhaps the best one of all. Marvelous three-dimensional design with a play at the plate on a slice of heavy cardboard that juts out separately. One of the nicest as this has the best players, with an amazing lineup that features Willie Mays, Ted Williams, Warren Spahn, Stan Musial, Pee Wee Reese, Bob Lemon, Bob Avila, Yogi Berra, Al Dark and Nellie Fox. Even Russ Hodges, who made the famous call of the Bobby Thomson-Ralph Branca home run, is here. Measures 21 x 27" and is in Excellent condition with some minor edge chipping. Desired by both baseball AND sneaker collectors (or should we call them canvas shoes?).
