1950s Rawlings Glove Advertising Posters (3)
Fascinating collection of posters that we have not seen before. Each shows a venerable major leaguer posed with their respective Rawlings gloves right behind them. These paper posters are two-sided and are like “tents” meant to be hung across the top of the sporting goods stores laid over a string also running across the store. Therefore, each of the posters can be cut at the top spine and made into two separate identical posters! Presented and accounted for are Ed Mathews (Milwaukee Braves), Herb Score (Cleveland Indians), & Ed Bailey (Cincinnati Reds). There are some tears along the way, and they are overall GD-VG. Each are17.5x23.5”.
