1950's Superman TV Show Advertising & Original Art (12)
Fascinating and extremely rare archive used for promotion of the worthy Superman TV show starring the tragic George Reeves in his defining role. This in house material was used by and emanates from the chain of San Gabriel Valley Newspapers, specifically their Daily Tribune for advertising this incredibly popular show. Includes: 1-3) Man of Steel (2) oversized (10.5x 15") and (1) regular sized proof photographs (9 x 12"). 4-6) Negatives and proof photograph measuring (9x 10.25", 9x12", 10x 13.75") 7) Original art with stats (10x 13.75"). 8) Newspaper advertising matte (7.25x 9.25"). 9-10) Superman logo and small newspaper strip photo. 11) Famed Providence, RI clock tower image within painting. 12) Flying Superman "ABC-TV" proof. Images are copyright 1950, but the actual show was later (1952-1958).
