1950s Ted Willams Unopened Sugar Crisp Post Cereal Box

1950s Ted Willams Unopened Sugar Crisp Post Cereal Box

One of the greatest sluggers of all-time was also an accomplished pitch man, lending his name and face to many products, such as this 6" x 8" unopened box of Post Sugar Crisp featuring the famous Sugar Bear mascot. The front of the cereal box promises a special offer for cloth baseball patches, and the back features an illustration of The Splendid Splinter's head donning a Red Sox cap with a caption that reads: "FANS - THESE MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PATCHES ARE TERRIFIC. ORDER YOUR SET TODAY." A great piece of true Americana!
