1950s Ted Williams Big League Casting Line Display Box

1950s Ted Williams Big League Casting Line Display Box

Nice and very rare in-store display box for spools of Ted Williams endorsed fishing line. Not only was The Splendid Splinter one of the purest hitters in baseball history, but he was also highly visible in product endorsements such as this one, which has pictures of the avid outdoorsman on the top and front side of the box. Measuring 6x9.25x1.5", the box remains in Very Good condition considering it was clearly used for display, as there is a fold across the lid where the die-cut stood up when folded, and one small tear on the bottom.
